FAQs

While we always love to hear from you, please check our FAQs for quick answers before reaching out to our volunteer team to help us prevent backups!

  • We are excited to announce that with the help of Ukraine & Ukrainians abroad, a 501c3 non-profit corporation, we are now able to receive tax-deductible donations, whichever way you prefer to give. You can still buy items directly from the Amazon wishlist, or you can contribute money to the bulk purchase of those same items and more. Whether you choose to send an item or money, your donation to this project is tax deductible.

  • Many folks have been asking us about 501c3 status. Through a partnership with Ukraine & Ukrainians Abroad we are now able to give you an opportunity to make tax deductible donations, including monetary donations through the “Donate Funds” link on our homepage.

  • It is not uncommon for Amazon to have an unsuccessful delivery attempt. Especially since the volunteers receiving these packages do get inundated. Amazon will try again.

  • Once you go through the checkout process on Amazon, you should see an option for “... Gift Registry Address” (it will appear in the "Other Addresses" Section under your "Most Recently Used" addresses. This is the correct shipping address associated with the list.

  • Our 'WishLists' do change from time to time based on the most up-to-date requests coming from the people in Ukraine, and the workload of the volunteers. We are also adding partners as we expand.

  • Unfortunately, no. The only process that we have streamlined so far is the process of shipping from the wishlists, which are curated to include only the needed items and only in the needed quantities. We don’t have any facilities to store other items, nor will they be accepted for air freight. We encourage you to hold on to your items. When the fighting finally stops, much more aid of all kinds will be needed, that can ship less urgently through traditional, peacetime supply chains. Alternatively these donations may be needed in places where refugees are being settled. We just aren’t focusing on that right now while the fighting still rages.

  • It was the first convenient tool that someone tried and it has worked really well. We are always open to trying something else, if it works. We do not have any kind of official relationship with Amazon.
